First Tournament - Master Fu - Friendship Tournament - Aylmer Quebec

I did not sleep well last night.  Going over and over in my head, the hand set ups, stances in walking stance,"L"stance, thumbs tucked in....knee bent,  all for just a little over 30 seconds of a pattern.

For the past 4 classes we have had mini practice tournments, although I have done well, placing gold in both disciplines of patterns and sparring... I have no idea what to expect, who the competition is, and well... being 47, am I going to be able to go the mile in a pressure kinda situation.

I'm proud to say... I received 2 golds today!  Thank you Eddie for coming with me to cheer me on and take pics of my very first tournament.

Here are some highlights of the competition today.
Waiting and watching

Sparring Green belt - double blue stripe

Sparring for Silver place or Gold

This judge was not only funny, but he gave us alot of tips and constructive critisism to "take it or leave it'.  I listened quite attentively.  He was great.
